The new MacBook Pro comes with a Touch ID feature with which you can do things like approve Apple Pay purchases, unlock your MacBook Pro or unlock critical apps such as 1Password.
Basically, Touch ID is a fingerprint identity sensor, which provides a more convenient way to do things using biometric security.
The Touch ID feature is available with 15″ MacBook Pro (2016 Models) and some 13″ MacBook Pro (2016 Models). It has Touch ID (power button) on the right side of the Touch Bar.
